[PATCH] gpiolib: Cosmetic improvements for error handling in gpiochip_add()

Please either fold this patch into
  gpiolib-introduce-chip-addition-removal-notifier.patch
or, actually these changes can stay in its own patch for better
sparation of cosmitc/real changes.
