The problem of not being able to select the c67x00 driver, may be solved
by simply pretending that ARCH=ppc "has a HCD" ... e.g.:

diff --git a/drivers/usb/Kconfig b/drivers/usb/Kconfig
index 755823c..eea0277 100644
--- a/drivers/usb/Kconfig
+++ b/drivers/usb/Kconfig

        default y if ARM                                # SL-811
        default y if SUPERH                             # r8a66597-hcd
+       default y if PPC
        default PCI

 # many non-PCI SOC chips embed OHCI

BTW: For a long time I'm wondering about what is the reason for making
it not selectable by default ...
