Query on SPI_ driver for i.MX31 ADS Freescale Board

Hi

I would like to introduce myself to u  I am shshidhara D N Started   working 
on Linux device drivers. so I am working on i.MX31 ADS freescale Board.

OS is Linux and I am working on SPI driver ..

I am trying  to  loop back SPI 2     & SPI3  ..For that how to proceede from 
scratch to end..

I have to do it through the API's  l(ike ioctls commands) .Please can u guide 
regarding this.. Hoping for reply
