Would setting the CONFIG_RTC option break the powerpc kernel on your machine ?

Ok, i will return whatever you want, and we don't really care about the
code, provided it boots ok, doesn't hang the powermacs at hwclock
invocation time, and clock works for them.

Still in search for a volunteer.
