G4 Mac as a fileserver

Has anyone tested the new G4 Mac's as a file server and tested
them with any type of hardware RAID adapters?
Is it working.
As I can see in the technical specifications are there free
slot's for full length 64bit PCI-cards but you never know before
you tested if it works in Linux.
