2.4.x and PreP video

Does anyone know of a patch to get the the IBM RS6000 7248 (Carolina)
video (IBM E15) to work in 2.4.x? It works fine with the 2.2 series
with a patch from the Carolina homepage but there is no 2.4 patch that
I can find.. As an alternative, does the S3 server work for this
now?
