Kernel sound problems (and misc)

Hmm,usually I just load the my old config file, run make menuconfig to
change whatever there is to change (like adding or removing device
drivers), and have a sane .config.

-(~/Cvs/pmac-devel)-> grep RWSEM .config
# CONFIG_RWSEM_GENERIC_SPINLOCK is not set

seems like it could be the problem. Thanks for the tip.
I guess I will do as Ben advised me, and stick to using his tree rather than paulus' for my pmac.
