linuxppc kernel and crypto patches?

I was looking at the crypto patch how-to

ption-HOWTO.html> and was wondering if this patch is compatible with the
linuxppc kernels (I'm running BenH's latest). Anyone know? Anyone ever try
it? Should I and post my results here?
