CDDA playback on Pismo (and other newer models)

Sound was good here (Sawtooth G4/350), however, I found that the playback
using cdparanoia used 25-50% of my CPU, caused huge latencies (mouse
blocked in X for half a second every 3 or 4 seconds, etc...)
