hi
I have a disk image of a small linux install for the iMac. I have an iMac
DV's ide HDD mounted in my x86 linux box, I recompiled pdisk, can
modify/create/delete partitions, but I cannot create ext2 file system with
mke2fs. I get :
mke2fs 1.15, 18-Jul-1999 for EXT2 FS 0.5b, 95/08/09
/dev/hdc10: Invalid argument passed to ext2 library while setting up
superblock

what I am trying to do is create a bootable root partition on the iMac DV
so that it will boot into linux.. I have it booting, just need the actual
root partition there for it to work :)
any ideas?
thanks
