CONFIG_PARIDE_PARPORT=y regardless of setting in make menuconfig

I just applied the 2.3.25 patch, and apparently CONFIG_PARIDE_PARPORT is
still always set to =y?  I've seen this for a very long time; any idea
when the config patch will get into the main kernel?
