RFC: PPC boot/Milo/OpenBios merge?

First, take a look at:
http://www.freiburg.linux.de/OpenBIOS/
With recent talk of how nicely Milo works (and all the problems PReP
machines have with bootloaders), what about merging Milo, all the wacky
variations of PPC boot code, and possibly the OpenBios code together?
Apparently the OpenBios people are considering using Milo. According to
the Web page, some have even advocated a GPL OF implementation. I don't
know how seriously though.
Am I off in la-la land, or is this a good idea to look into?
