I tried the current top (6.6.72) of the stable/linux-6.6.y branch - no luck
there as well. It panics just like before.

The qemu board used for emulation is the sabrelite board which tries to be close
to the i.MX6Q SoC[1] My knowledge of qemu and the specific SoC emulation is limited though,
so maybe there is a certain edge case that is not emulated which trigger the bug.
