[Lguest] Pinning of guest physical pages

Are guest physical (which are just host virtual addresses) pages pinned?
Are the virtual addresses corresponding to guest physical (from the point
of view of some code executing in the host) mapped for the lifetime of the
guest? What code ensures this? Where can I read it?
