I've tried to use the same names where possible; in some cases there
didn't seem to be a standard and I had to pick one.  If standards
change or I'm wrong I'll happily change.

It's explicitly designed to fit in with projects which use autoconf.

(configurator is a cute hack, but I didn't expect people to seriously
use it!)

Oh well, I guess my next project will be an autoconf/ dir to create the
macros for CCAN.
