[Cbe-oss-dev] Booting from USB DVD drive via petitboot?

Hi,

yesterday I tried to install F12 off a USB DVD drive connected to the 
PS3. While petitboot seems to have no problems using the drive (visible 
and mountable from the petitboot shell) it doesn't seem to search for a 
yaboot/kboot.conf on it.

Has anybody successfully tried this? Would be nice if this works since 
there are quite a few cheap PS3s on eBay with broken BD-ROMs that work 
just fine otherwise ;)
