My question is: Is Sony ever going to make a firmware compulsory (again)? I can see in wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_3_System_Software that version 3.15 is a "required" firmware. 1) what does it mean exactly? 2) will there ever be an other compulsory firmware?
