I wasn't the person that originally packaged kboot for Ubuntu, but I was
the person who made a rookie attempt at updating it last. It was on my
todo list to see something happen about getting it packaged in the
"debian" way.

Maybe Debian/Ubuntu can collaborate to get petit-boot sorted so it can
be included in the Debian archives?
