Within the ps3-geoff kernel 2.6.24 from january i could connect to wlan 
with wpa enabled on device eth1. The other device eth0 keeps beeing 
hardwired lan. This is a fine concept, because it is like any other 
notebook out there. But with patches for the new kernel 2.6.25 i did not 
get this anymore, the command "iwlist eth1 scan"
says something like: "no wireless available...." with kernel 2.6.25

Is there a change in naming that formerly eth1 wireless device? Or is 
the file "series" in your patches directory incomplete? Or do i have to 
take also the patches after the title "For 2.6.26" (in Series) for 
kernel 2.6.25? Is there anywhere some more documentation of the patches 
and how to use them?
