[Cbe-oss-dev] wlan0 udev error on gentoo ppc64

Kernel 2.6.25 with stable patches from Geoff comes up with a notice of 
two identical MAC addresses for eth0 and wlan0 as it should! Then 
probing "iwlist wlan0 scan" results in a message saying wlan0 was no 
wireless adapter. Looking up in /dev there was a file wlan0_rename_error

Shall i disable udev to get wlan0 enabled? Or disable some udev-rules?
