The Distributor's Starter Kit is intended to help Linux distributors
create a distribution that supports the PS3.  It is not intended for
use by end users.  If your distribution is lacking something, then you
should make a request to the distribution maintainers to provide it.

These are Fedora 8 bugs, to get them resolved you need to find out
who maintains the package, and ask them to include these fixes.  I
would guess there is a Fedora development ML you could try.
