Ok, thanks Geoff for the explanation.

I did not notice any problem so far while using the SIXAXIS with
freshly compiled bluez-utils and bluez-libs and pabr's bluez patch to
increase the MTU size.

I do not follow Bluetooth development closely and I did not mean to
sound like I was talking down on you for making that change when I
asked for the "rationale". I apologize for what might have appeared as
a nasty remark on my part.

Should I just follow the bluez mailing list and fish for info and if
that is this a PS3/Cell blade issue or is a general bluetooth problem
with kernel 2.6.23 ?
