Ah, neat. You don't need the "ps3fb:mode:" bit?

Yep, I'm tempted to backport that feature, and add a patch to be applied 
during the openwrt build. Might make a sensible (safe?) default for the 
standard PS3 config for openwrt. It's then easy enough to rebuild with 
a higher res if autodetection works with your monitor.
