[Cbe-oss-dev] PS3 kernel panic - not syncing:no init found

  Hi, yesterday i did a clone-git kernel. I use YDL 5 on PS3 European
machine.
  I did all steps found at Julio blog (
http://julipedia.blogspot.com/2007/03/building-updated-kernel-for-ps3.html)

  I did some configuration over ps3_defconfig:

             - disable ps3snd (kernel panic with trace)
             - disable autoconfig IP at kernel init
             - disable IPv6
             - enable Wireless network devices support
                     - enable ZL1201 usb driver

  Kernel compiles without error but when it's running stop with
          "Warning: Unable to open an initial console."
 follow with:
       "Kernel panic - not syncing: No init found, Try passing init= option
to kernel."

  I think that the problem is about mount root partion (ext3), but before
Free kernel memory, EXT3-FS says root partition mounted in read-only mode.

     Is it a ps3-storage problem? Any idea?
