I also tried the kernel patch you supplied, it makes no difference that I
can see.  Also since I'm now using kboot0831 because of the 2.10 bug, I
can't even see the "/dev/root not found" screen, kboot simply freezes
after some ehci driver dereg output.  I assume it's the same problem, just
not printing the nash output for whatever reason.
