Yes, I am using QS20.

My args for the first kernel:
image=/vmlinuz-2.6.20-arnd3_kd1st_7.dim
        label=2.6.20-arnd3_kd
        read-only
        initrd=/initrd-2.6.20-arnd3_kd1st_7.dim.img
        root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00
        append="console=hvc0 rhgb crashkernel=128M at 32M"

FW version:
# cat /proc/device-tree/openprom/ibm,fw-temp-bank
CB1FW614A, 12-07-2006 14:55

I have not tried recently, but yes I was able to copy /proc/vmcore
when I tried a while ago.

I attached my .config file for the first kernel and dump-capture kernel.
There were some critical points for setting .config on dump-capture kernel.
I had to turn off following CONFIG params.
#       -CONFIG_CBE_THERM=m
#       -CONFIG_CBE_CPUFREQ=m
#       +# CONFIG_CBE_THERM is not set
#       +# CONFIG_CBE_CPUFREQ is not set

If you need my initrd I will send it to you on private email,
since the file size is not small.

I will be out for bissiness trip entirely next week, 
and will not be able to read this mailing list,
so pleas give me some time to respond.
