[Prophesy] Versioning Filesystem

Hello,

I'm looking for filesystem with versioning support, native cryptography 
and distribution capabilities. I found some links to Prophesy mailing 
list, but it seems not to be alive for some time.

Anybody Out There?

I would appreciate any documentation, papers, comments how/if it works. 
If it is still under development, or just sleeping or dead.

Perhaps even some keywords about similar projects.

I have to think out theme-to-be for my dissertation thesis, and I'm 
curious what have been done in this area.
