    The systemd team does not have any other control to cause a link
    up/down state.  The perception there is "Why would you want to
    individually enable/disable ports you've paid for?".  Since they
    have no ready control to achieve the desired effect, I would
    appreciate accepting my solution for the time being.  Should systemd
    make a change to improve the control of link status the change can
    be made then.<br>
