Yes, I have opened an issue as OpenBMC/yocto is unable to cope with this change:

Once we have this bug fixed, we will move to 6.5 as the openbmc kernel
base. I expect 6.6 to become the next Linux LTS, so 6.5 will be a
practice run for 6.6.

The 6.1 tree will remain open for bug fixes, but I do not intend to
accept new machines or driver backports into that tree.
