The difference between a CCAN approach and most-other-packaging schemes is that CCAN is a source repository not a binary repository.<br><br>By acting as a packaging and dependency system at the source level, the idea is to either 1) Include the code directly, or 2) Derive other types of packages (binary, etc) from the CCAN package.<br>
